FAQ & Policies

Good questions,clear answers.

What does dry hire mean?+

You provide the alcohol, and Tipsy Hills provides the bartending service, portable bar setup, ice, mixers, garnishes, cups, napkins, setup and breakdown.

Who provides the alcohol?+

You do. We don't sell or supply alcohol for events. We help you buy the right bottles and amounts.

Do you help calculate alcohol quantities?+

Yes. Every package includes a shopping list with recommended amounts based on your guest count, service hours and drink menu.

Do you offer mocktails or alcohol-free events?+

Absolutely. We can serve mocktails alongside cocktails or run a fully alcohol-free bar. Customized signature drinks can be cocktails or mocktails.

Are ice, cups, mixers, garnishes and the bar included?+

Yes. Ice, mixers, garnishes, cups, napkins and our portable bar setup come with every package. Some venues may have rules about outside bars, and we'll check with you.

How much setup time and space are needed?+

Setup usually takes about 30 to 45 minutes. We'll confirm the exact space needed for the bar when we review your venue.

What areas do you serve?+

Metro Atlanta and surrounding areas.

When do travel fees apply?+

Events outside our included service area receive an individual travel quote. We'll let you know when we review your booking.

How far in advance should I book?+

Please book at least three weeks in advance. Events less than two weeks away depend on availability and include a rush fee starting at $125, confirmed on review.

What secures my date?+

Your date is secured once you accept the event agreement and pay the $100 nonrefundable date-hold deposit. Submitting an inquiry does not reserve your date.

When is the remaining balance due?+

7 calendar days before your event, unless a different schedule is agreed in writing. The $100 deposit is applied toward your total. It isn't an extra fee.

Can I add guests or hours?+

Yes. Extra hours are $75 each and extra guests are $75 for each additional group of up to 25. Larger groups may need extra staff or a package upgrade. Changes need availability and your written approval of any added charges.

What happens if I cancel or reschedule?+

The $100 deposit is nonrefundable if you cancel. Cancel 14 or more days out and payments above the deposit are refunded, less approved custom costs. You may reschedule once if you ask at least 7 days before your event. See our full Cancellation and Refund Policies below.

How do gift cards work?+

Gift cards are dollar-value credit toward Tipsy Hills services. The recipient still submits an inquiry, and the gift card is applied toward their approved event total. They pay any remaining difference. A gift card doesn't reserve a date or lock in a package price.

Cancellation Policy+

Canceling your booking

Please send cancellation requests to siptipsyhills@gmail.com and include your name, event date and booking reference. The date we receive your written request determines the applicable cancellation period. We will acknowledge your request in writing.

Booking deposit

A booking deposit of at least $100 reserves your event date and is credited toward your total service price. The required deposit amount is stated in your quote. If you cancel, the deposit is nonrefundable except where a refund is required by law or expressly provided by our Refund Policy.

Cancellation at least 14 days before the event

We will refund payments above the booking deposit, less documented, nonrecoverable custom purchases or third-party commitments that you approved in writing. We will provide an itemized explanation of any deductions. Deductions will not exceed the payments eligible for refund.

Cancellation fewer than 14 days before the event

Payments already made are nonrefundable because staffing and event preparation have been committed, subject to applicable law. Cancellation alone does not make an otherwise unpaid balance immediately due. Any separately approved nonrecoverable obligations are governed by your signed booking agreement.

Rescheduling once

You may request one transfer of your booking to a new date by emailing us at least seven calendar days before your original event. The new event must take place within six months of the original date and is subject to our availability. A transfer is confirmed only when we agree to the new date in writing. If no date is agreed, the original booking remains subject to the cancellation rules above. Your booking deposit and other available service payments transfer to the confirmed new date. Costs already incurred for the original event cannot be credited a second time. Changes to the location, guest count, service hours or package may change the price; we will quote any changes for your written approval. A cancellation after a confirmed transfer is evaluated against the new event date, and the deposit remains nonrefundable.

Emergencies and legal rights

Contact us promptly if severe weather, a venue closure or another event outside either party's reasonable control prevents service. We will document any agreed rescheduling or refund treatment in writing. Nothing in this policy limits cancellation or refund rights required by applicable law.

Refund Policy+

Client cancellations

Refund eligibility follows our Cancellation Policy. The booking deposit is nonrefundable upon client cancellation unless applicable law requires otherwise. For cancellation at least 14 calendar days before the event, eligible payments above the deposit are refunded after any approved, documented nonrecoverable custom costs. For cancellation fewer than 14 calendar days before the event, payments already made are nonrefundable, subject to applicable law.

If Tipsy Hills cancels

If we cancel before service begins for a reason within our control and cannot provide an alternative you accept in writing, we will refund all payments for that booking, including the deposit. If we fail to provide a paid portion of the agreed service for a reason within our control, we will refund the amount attributable to that undelivered portion. These provisions do not limit other rights available under applicable law.

Events outside either party's control

If performance becomes impossible because of severe weather, a government restriction, a venue closure or another circumstance outside either party's reasonable control, we will first discuss rescheduling. If no new date is agreed, we will refund amounts attributable to services not delivered, less documented nonrecoverable event costs approved by you in writing, subject to applicable law. We will provide an itemized accounting and will not deduct the same cost twice.

Completed service and unused supplies

Completed services are not refundable solely because attendance was lower than expected, guests consumed fewer drinks, or you chose to end service early. Please report missing or incorrectly delivered services to siptipsyhills@gmail.com so we can review them. This policy does not exclude claims for defective service or rights required by law. Ownership and handling of unused alcohol or supplies follow your written event agreement.

Receiving an approved refund

We will confirm the refund amount and any deductions in writing and initiate an approved refund within ten business days, using the original payment method when possible. Your bank or payment provider may require additional processing time. Duplicate payments and billing errors will be reviewed and corrected promptly.

Scope

These policies cover event-service bookings. Any separately offered bottled-drink or product orders require their own applicable sale and fulfillment terms; this event policy does not automatically establish a no-return rule for those orders.

Terms and Conditions+

Booking and payment

Tipsy Hills Cocktails & Mobile Bartending provides the services described in your written quote and booking agreement. Events must be booked at least three weeks in advance. An inquiry does not reserve a date. A reservation is confirmed when we accept the booking agreement, receive the required deposit of at least $100, and send written confirmation. Your deposit applies toward the total price. Unless a different schedule is agreed in writing, the remaining balance is due seven calendar days before your event. If a payment is overdue, we will contact you and provide a written deadline to resolve it before canceling service. Any cancellation and treatment of payments will follow the booking agreement, Cancellation Policy, Refund Policy and applicable law. We will not add fees or extra services without your written approval.

Services and changes

Your agreement identifies the package, guest count, service hours, staffing, location, equipment, and who supplies alcohol, mixers, ice, cups and other materials. Dry-hire service means the client supplies the alcohol unless a lawful alternative is expressly agreed in writing. Package prices and inclusions shown on the website are subject to the accepted written quote. Requested changes and overtime require availability and written approval of any additional charges.

Venue access and setup

The client must arrange venue approval, timely loading and setup access, a stable service area, and any agreed utilities. Outdoor events require an appropriate weather protection plan. We will identify setup needs before the event. Unsafe conditions may require a pause or relocation of service; we will communicate with the designated event contact. Treatment of any undelivered service follows the Refund Policy and applicable law.

Alcohol service

Alcohol service is subject to applicable laws, permit requirements and venue rules. We may request valid government-issued photo identification and will not serve alcohol to anyone under 21 or to a visibly intoxicated person. Staff may refuse service that is unsafe or unlawful. A venue's or host's approval alone does not establish authorization to sell alcohol. Alcohol sales, supply and transportation must be expressly agreed and legally authorized for the event.

Client cooperation and allergies

Please provide accurate event details and notify us of known allergies or dietary restrictions before the menu is finalized. Ingredient information is available on request, but we cannot promise an allergen-free service environment. The client must help maintain a safe work area and cooperate with reasonable staff instructions. Any responsibility for lost or damaged equipment must be documented and addressed under the written agreement and applicable law.

Website use and booking documents

Website information is provided for planning and inquiries. Do not misuse forms or copy our logo, photographs or original content without permission or another lawful basis. Your accepted booking agreement records your event-specific terms. The version of these policies supplied and accepted at booking applies to that booking; later website changes do not retroactively alter it. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

Cancellations, refunds and contact

The Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy form part of the booking terms when provided and accepted with your agreement. Direct booking questions, cancellation requests and service concerns to siptipsyhills@gmail.com.
